The efflorescence on new pavers results from manufacturing and then stacking them with humidity inside (curing process). You have some options:
1. You can apply SealGreen Efflorescence Remover to each one and let them dry (not stacked) before installing.
2. Install them and then before you apply the polymeric sand treat them with efflorescence remover. They will need to dry for several days to prevent encapsulating efflorescence with the application of polymeric sand.
3. Complete the job including polymeric sand installation. Wait the appropriate time for the polymeric sand to cure and then treat the pavers with SealGreen Efflorescence Remover.
Most paver installers prefer option 3 because it allows them to complete the job. I also recommend that you inform the supplier of the pavers when you receive them that they have efflorescence coming of the pallet (take pictures). This will give you some leverage if they are an issue later on.
