This is our recommendation.
Keep in mind that we do not offer any guarantees because we are not doing the service and we do not know the quality of the concrete, absorption rates, age, and how deep the cat urine has penetrated.
We do know however that many customers residential and commercial have received impressive results from using our products.
Here is the plan for your project:
1. Remove the carpet and any under pads to have full access to the concrete.
2. Wash the floor using our SealGreen Kennel Cleaner mixed with hot water and soak the concrete very well to obtain the most penetration.
3. Rinse the concrete using plenty of water and collect the water using a shop Wet/Dry Vacumm. Let Dry
4. You may have to repeat the washing process to remove all the smell and cat urine.
5. After you have completed the cleaning process allow the floor to dry for 48 hours.
6. We recommend that during drying time you use room fans to move the air around the room.
7. You have to seal the floor using SealGreen E10 Epoxy Sealer Vapor Barrier. You need to apply the coating by rolling and apply two coats.
8. Allow the floor to cure for 24 hours.
8. After the sealer application you can cover the floor with NEW carpet or other type of flooring. DO NOT reuse the carpet that you had in place prior to cleaning.
