I recently bought a property that includes a normal concreted garage and then as well as a concreted barn. Both are Garage Floor Concrete Sealer Concentrate with Salt Defense Technology

I recently bought a property that includes a normal concreted garage and then as well as a concreted barn. Both areas I’d like to park vehicles on. I live in Buffalo, NY so we obviously get snow and weather. This includes a lot of road salt which I know can eat away and damage the concrete.

I’m just looking for some guidance on your product as far as mainly protecting the concrete from water, snow, salt, etc. I’m looking at about 1,000 sq ft of concrete I’d like to protect. If possible, could somebody get back to me on:
#1) If your product does what I need it to do? (Mainly protection from salt and pitting my concrete)
#2) How much do I need to cover the areas?
#3) How is it to apply it and difficulty wise? (Tools I’d need)
#4) How long does shipping take?

#1) If your product does what I need it to do? (Mainly protection from salt and pitting my concrete)

a. We recommend using SealGreen Concrete Concentrate Sealer with Salt Defense Technology – It is a chemically reactive penetrating sealer that does NOT form a film over the surface of the concrete. Whatever the surface is before the application it will remain the same after sealer application. The sealer is inside of the concrete.

b. It will protect against Salt Damage and Ice melters.

c. The product has a life expectancy of 20 years. We recommend a refresher every 5-7 years. Refresher - requires washing the surface and then doing a light application of the sealer.

#2) How much do I need to cover the areas?

a. 1-quart of concentrate sealer will cover 500 sqft once mixed with water according to the instructions on the back of the bottle.

b. For 1,000 Sqft you will need 2-Quarts. We recommend doing a second pass that can be accomplished with 1-Quart of sealer. Total you will need 3-Quarts of sealer or 1-gallon if you have any other concrete that needs protection like walkways, driveways, back patios,

#3) How is it to apply it and difficulty wise? (Tools I’d need)

a. You will need a garden pump sprayer with a fan tip and One 5-gallon bucket to mix sealer.

b. We highly recommend washing the concrete surface regardless of if it is new to obtain the best sealer penetration. We recommend using SealGreen Driveway Cleaner to wash the concrete. You will need 3-Quarts of cleaner. Or 1-gallon best buy.

c. It applies by sprayer. Look at the video - https://youtu.be/dxIZpmDtm8Y - Application Instructions

d. To wash the concrete surface, you will need a pressure washer with 3,000 Psi or less and using the green tip. (You can use the same pump sprayer for cleaner application)

#4) How long does shipping take?

a. The product ships from Kansas, and it will take about 4 to 5 business days to arrive via UPS or USPO.
