The TK290 is a siloxane penetrating sealer that may mitigate the penetration of brake fluid into the concrete. To clean the brake fluid, we recommend doing a two-step process.
1. Brake Fluid stains - If the brake fluid stains are new and still wet, we recommend using SealGreen Oil Cleaner Degreaser. (video - https://youtu.be/TsrSrBR_lS0) This will clean the fresh surface fluid, but if the fluid has penetrated the concrete If you see a fluid stain shadow in the concrete after is dry), then you will also need to apply SealGreen Gray-Out. SealGreen Gray-Out waterless Oil Cleaner (video - https://youtu.be/i4Kmf48P-F0) is designed to clean by penetrating inside the concrete.
2. The Gray-Out works with enzymes that will slowly eat the brake fluid without damaging the concrete and clean the concrete. This is a time sensitive product, and it may take several weeks or months to eat all the brake fluid and leave it like it never happened. The gray-out product should only be applied when the concrete is dry.
