- Let us start cleaning with the SealGreen Mold and Mildew Remover. The cleaning process is simple: a. Apply the day before rinsing and soak all surfaces to be cleaned, including stone walls, column caps, fireplace caps, and seating surfaces. b. The following day, re-apply the mold remover to all surfaces, let it soak for 10 minutes, and start the rinsing process using a pressure washer. We recommend using no more than 3,000 Psi pressure and a turbo nozzle. c. Allow to dry naturally for a day and then apply SealGreen Brick and Stone Sealer Concentrate. Two coats may be needed depending on the substrate absorption.
- The Sealer should be applied to all surfaces of your patio except the travertine. The sealer is a penetrating chemically reactive sealer and will not change the look of your natural surfaces. It is required to apply the sealer every 5 to 7 years. Just repeat the washing and sealing process.
As a final word, it is ALWAYS recommended to seal all natural stones, because they eventually stain or develop mold.
