Hello, I have a question about your product. I poured my driveway about 5 yrs ago, this year in New York was a part Concrete Sealer Concentrate with Salt Defense Technology CONCRETE SEALERS

Hello, I have a question about your product. I poured my driveway about 5 yrs ago, this year in New York was a particularly bad winter and I got a lot of pitting in my driveway for some reason. I just recently reapplied the color Crete concrete sealer last year. I am Not sure why I am getting the pitting but seems as the water must still be penetrating the surface. I was wondering if I could go over that with your sealer to help prevent the pitting. Let me know thanks.

Unfortunately, the existing Color Crete Concrete Sealer will have to be removed totally from all the areas that you want to protect. When I research the Product Specification Sheet for Color Crete Concrete Sealer it does not specify protection against freeze/thaw or salt, deicers exposure.

Our SealGreen Concrete Sealer with Salt Protection is a penetrating sealer that chemically reacts with concrete and becomes part of the concrete by crystallizing inside of the concrete and mitigating water and salts penetration.

To remove the Color Crete Concrete Sealer, you can use our SealGreen SCR1600 Coating Remover.
