The service life of SealGreen Poly StepGuard for Bathtubs will depend on how often the bathtub is used and how it is cleaned.
With routine cleaning using a mild cleaner and a non-abrasive brush, the coating can typically provide four to five years of protection and may last even longer with gentle care.
In commercial settings, where bathtubs may be cleaned more frequently with stronger cleaners and stiffer brushes, the expected service life is approximately three years before a refresher application may be needed.
Refreshing the coating is simple. Wash the bathtub thoroughly with SealGreen Oil Cleaner Degreaser, rinse as directed and allow the surface to dry completely. Then reapply SealGreen Poly StepGuard with the anti-skid additive, following the same process used for the original application. Allow at least 12 hours of drying time before returning the bathtub to normal use.
