SealGreen Kennel Sealer is designed for concrete floors exposed to frequent animal urination. Based on your measurements, you have approximately 800 square feet of concrete to protect. You will need two quarts of SealGreen Kennel Sealer Concentrate to treat the area. Depending on floor use, the sealer typically lasts four to five years. When it is time to refresh the protection, simply wash the surface, allow it to dry completely, and reapply the sealer.
The sealer penetrates and reacts with the concrete rather than forming a surface coating. As a result, it should not change the appearance or texture of the concrete; the surface should look much the same after application as it did before.
The application process is straightforward:
1. Clean the concrete: Apply SealGreen Kennel Cleaner to every area you plan to seal. If the concrete is not new, we also recommend treating it with SealGreen Disinfectant to help provide a clean environment for your pets.
2. Rinse thoroughly: After applying the disinfectant and cleaner, rinse the concrete with a pressure washer set to no more than 3,000 PSI. Use the 15-degree spray tip (green color) is recommended.
3. Allow the surface to dry and apply the sealer: Let the concrete dry naturally and completely before applying the sealer with a garden pump sprayer. Follow the directions included with the product. You can also visit our website for additional instructions and application videos.
